The Bible passage for today’s reading is from Revelation 1:5-6 (KJV). This passage describes Jesus Christ as the faithful witness, the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. It also emphasizes His love for us and how He washed us from our sins in His blood. The passage further states that Jesus has made us kings and priests unto God and His Father. As kings and priests, we are to give God all the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Open Heaven December 2, 2023, WORD MESSAGE

The Bible’s message in Philippians 2:10-11 is compelling and deeply meaningful. It states that every knee shall bow in the name of Jesus, whether it be things in Heaven, on earth, or underneath the ground. Furthermore, every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, all for the glory of God the Father. This awe-inspiring passage highlights Jesus’ immense power and dominion over everything.

When a king is in his domain, people bow to him as a sign of respect and submission. However, when that same King enters another king’s territory, he becomes subject to the laws of that kingdom. This is not the case for Jesus. The domain given to Him is in Heaven, on earth, and underneath the ground. Therefore, He is the King wherever He goes because all other kings must bow to Him. This is why He is rightfully named the King of all kings.

The Bible reading for today emphasizes that Jesus has made us kings and priests unto God. As such, each of us has been given a domain to rule over. Whether you work in finance, entertainment, or any other industry, you are called to rule as a king in that domain. It is not only in ministry that you should represent God, but in your profession as well. You must be a king there, doing the will of God. Leaving these industries to be ruled by others who may not follow God’s ways is not an option. We must take action and take our domains for God.

To become the King of your industry, you must be hardworking. You must be so good that you become a force reckoned with in your industry. This way, you will keep growing until you reach the top and become the industry’s King or queen. Only then would you have taken your domain for God.

Let us embrace the call to be kings and queens in our chosen industries and not shy away from leadership positions. We are the salt and light of the earth, and we must go into the world and take over our territories.

As you reflect on your life as a child of God, consider how you can bring glory to His name through your career. Will you strive to become a leader in your industry? This requires hard work, dedication, and a commitment to excellence. But as you seek to honor God in all you do, He will guide and bless your efforts. Take inspiration from the Bible’s teachings and let them guide you toward success. Today’s reading from 1 Corinthians 14-16 can provide valuable insights and wisdom to help you. Open Heaven December 2, 2023 HYMNAL: 20 – STAND UP! STAND UP FOR JESUS

1. Stand up! stand up for Jesus,
Ye soldiers of the Cross!
Lift high His royal banner;
It must not suffer loss.
From vict’ry unto vict’ry
His army shall He lead,
Till ev’ry foe is vanquished,
And Christ is Lord indeed.

2. Stand up! stand up for Jesus,
The trumpet calls to obey;
Forth to the mighty conflict,
On this glorious day,
Ye that are men now serve Him
Against unnumbered foes;
Let courage rise with danger,
And strength to strength oppose.

3. Stand up! Stand up for Jesus!
Stand in His strength alone;
The arm of flesh will fail you,
Ye dare not trust your own:
Put on the gospel armor,
Each piece is put on with prayer;
Where duty calls or danger,
I’ve never wanted to be there.

4. Stand up! Stand up for Jesus!
The strife will not be long;
This day, the noise of battle,
The next the victor’s song;
To him, that overcometh,
A crown of life shall be;
He with the King of glory
Shall reign eternally
