TOPIC: What Is The Anointing?

1 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

Open Heaven For Today 2024 MESSAGE
Many people seek to understand what exactly brings about miracles. When they see a man of God lay hands on a sick person and get healed, they want to know what passed from his hand into the sick fellow that caused the healing. When they say someone fell under the anointing, the question is, what is the anointing?
The anointing can be described as ‘heavenly electricity’ generated by the Holy Spirit. In other words, just like we have electricity here on EarEarthat powers most of our appliances, the anointing is the electricity of heaven. When you see an anointed fellow, that fellow has connected himself to the generator of the anointing in heaven, which is the Holy Spirit, and he now has the heavenly electricity flowing in him. Acts 1:8 says you will receive power when the Holy Ghost comes upon you. That connection with the Holy Ghost makes the anointing flow through you. You must note, however, that the anointing is not the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the generator of the anointing. The Holy Spirit is God Himself.
How do you connect with the Holy Spirit to receive the anointing? You must first note that He is called the Holy Spirit because He cannot be near anything unholy. You must be holy if you want to connect with the Holy Spirit. God will not anoint a sinner. Amos 3:3 says that two cannot walk together unless they agree. The Holy Spirit cannot work in you if you are not holy.
Also, just as you connect with a man when you speak his language, you connect with the Holy Spirit in tongues. The more you speak in tongues, the more heavenly electricity you generate into your Body, and the more bododynointed you will be. You see, how anointed you are depends heavily on how much faith you have. Jude 1:20 says you build your holy faith by speaking in the Holy Ghost. So, the more you talk in the Holy Ghost, the greater your faith will be. The greater your faith, the more anointing you will have to do the impossible. You must also note that there are some levels of anointing you cannot reach if you don’t fast regularly to your regular prayers (Matthew 17:21).
ACTION POINT
Build up your faith by speaking in tongues regularly, and seek the baptism of the Holy Spirit if you are yet to receive it.

Open Heaven For Today 2024 MESSAGE
Today’s Bible tells us that as a believer in Christ, you are to cast out demons and perform all kinds of miracles. The question now is, are you a believer? If the answer is yes, you can perform miracles as Jesus did. You may then ask, “Why have I”not been able to perform any miracle thus far?”
In Mark 3″13-15, Jesus’ discJesus’were told what to do. They were to keep Him company, preach, heal sicknesses, and cast out demons. Most Christians have not been working because they have not followed this order. How much time do you spend fellowshipping with God? This is the first step in working miracles. You must spend quality time studying your Bible and praying daily. The more time you spend in His company, the more His power will rest on you.
You are also required to preach the gospel. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus said, “Go ye there” fore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the S and the Holy Ghost.”
Many believe”vers devangelizeelise. God will not give you the power to work miracles so that you can; how off? He will only do so and will use it to win souls for Him. If you get these first two steps right, the power to work miracles willow duly.
Many people don’t need don’t to have the power of God. Ifthinkeel it is immoral to heal, I won’t pay twon’tcrifice to make healing easy. If I am not concerned when somebody dies, I won’t pray before I ask the family members to arrange for the burial of the fellow. Suppose you truly understand that God is expecting you to be the channel through which He will heal the sick and raise the dead, that it is a must that you cast out d, Emons and that some demons won’t accept by prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21), your attitude to food and pleasure should according to cording to Mark 3:13-15. In that case, you are expected to heal t if you are His discipleheNowery now. Then, God will send you to raise the dead, cast out demons, and cleanse people with incurable diseases (Matthew10:7-8). If you are His, you must pay you to pay the price and receive the power to work miracles.
